Monthly Programs & Classes
Join us for a lively discussion about the book of the month. Books selected are from a variety of genres, both fiction and non-fiction. The program is in partnership with the High Plains Library, Carbon Valley Branch.

New to the area or just interested in seeing what we do at the senior center? Join us to learn about the wide variety of activities that CVPRD has to offer, meet other adults who live in the area and find out how you can get involved and make new friends. The District's wide variety of programs for seniors include weekly scheduled activities, support services, special events, exercise and fitness classes, educational workshops and more.

Bring a new or gently used ornament as a prize and get ready to have some fun playing bingo and winning a variety of ornaments. Ornaments can be wrapped or unwrapped.

Need a cool new pot for your garden? Made from a mixture of peat moss, vermiculite, Portland cement and water, hypertufa can be formed and shaped to create pots that are much lighter than their concrete counterparts. All materials will be provided. Your hands and clothes may get messy, so please dress appropriately. No cost to register. Registration in advance suggested. Space is limited.

Wrap yourself in tie dye bliss - a kaleidoscope you can't miss. Join us to make a canvas tie-dye bag. Bag and tie-dye materials provided, creativity is up to you. Registration in advance required.

A wonderful way to get a tough job finished! In a single, easy, and enjoyable session, you’ll complete a will, living will, medical power of attorney, financial power of attorney and more all with the help of licensed attorney, Rebecca L. Bennetti and her staff. Couples must register separately.
