Youth Voucher Program to Provide Summer Fun for Kids

Carbon Valley Parks and Recreation District is proud to be part of the Weld County Summer Youth Voucher Program where qualifying participants can receive a $125 voucher to use for summer programs and activities at CVPRD.

Who is Eligible to Receive a Voucher? 

  • Children (infants to 17 years of age) living in Weld County with families receiving TANF and/or food assistance and whose household income is below $75,000
  • Foster/adopted children placed in Weld County certified foster care homes and groups

How do I obtain a voucher? 

To obtain a voucher, email or call 970-400-6796 with the following information:   

  • Name
  • Case number
  • Phone number
  • Children's names

Vouchers will be accepted at CVPRD through June 16, 2021. Vouchers will not be accepted after that date. Weld County is responsible for determining who receives vouchers. CVPRD does not have anything to do with voucher eligibility requirements or approval. 

How do I redeem my voucher at CVPRD?
Once you receive your $125 voucher from Weld County, you can register for CVPRD programs except the following contractual programs where registration is taken by outside vendors. 

Qualifying Programs

  • Gymnastics Classes 
  • Junior Trainers
  • Summer Mini Camps
  • Swim lessons
  • Youth Baseball (registration ends Monday, May 3)
