Board Meetings Minutes and Agendas

Board meetings are held the third Wednesday of every month at 6:30 pm at the Carbon Valley Senior Center, 6615 Frederick Way, Frederick. The length of meetings varies based on the agenda. Time for public comment is provided.

2023 Study Session Schedule

Study Sessions are held every second Wednesday at the District's administrative building located at 8350 Colorado Blvd., Suite 180, Firestone (next to Dairy Queen). Meetings begin at 6:30 pm unless otherwise posted. The public is encouraged to come and listen, however, there is no public comment during this time.

Public Record Viewing

Public records shall be viewed at the Carbon Valley Recreation Center on regular business days at prearranged times. After viewing the documents, photocopies may be requested for a fee of $0.25 per standard page, or the actual cost of providing a copy, printout, or photograph of a public record in a format other than a standard page, as provided by law. Photocopies must be paid for at the time the request is made and can be picked up in person at an agreed time. If further information is needed and the District's legal counsel is involved (per Resolution 2011-2), an additional fee may be charged. Obtain a Colorado Open Records Act (CORA) form if documentation is not available on the website.

Record Availability

If records are available pursuant C.R.S. 24-72-201 et seq., the records shall be made available for viewing within three working days. If extenuating circumstances exist so that the executive director cannot reasonably gather the records within the three-day period, the period shall be extended to seven working days. The requester shall be notified of the extension within the three-day period.
