Give back to the community and make a difference in the lives of youth. CVPRD is seeking volunteer coaches for our youth sports leagues. You don’t need to be an expert, coaches receive drills to do during practice and when you volunteer to be a head coach, your child plays the sport you coach for free!
What do I need to do to become a volunteer youth coach with CVPRD? Complete our volunteer coach application at LINK or contact Kelly Gray, Programs Coordinator, to have one sent to you. Coaches are required to complete online instruction about concussions in youth sports and must pass a background check.
When are practices? Practice days and times are determined by the coaches making it convent to work with your busy schedule.
What are my general responsibilities as a coach? Coaches are responsible for all aspects of the team which includes scheduling and running practices, attending and coaching games, attending the NEHSCA coaches training, and helping to recruit assistant coaches when necessary.
If you are interested in becoming a coach, please contact Kelly Gray at email@example.com or 303-833-3660 x 124.
