12 Days of Fitness
Keeping up with your exercise routine during the holidays is difficult. Stay motivated and win prizes by completing the 12 Days of Fitness Challenge. All you need to do is attend any 12 group fitness classes between December 5 - 18. Must attend 12 classes, no exceptions. Women's Weight Training

30-Minute High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) Cycling
Kick-start your metabolism through a series of short, high-intensity intervals. Don’t like being in the seat for an hour? You’ve found the right class. Short, but intense. For all fitness levels.
Alignment based Hatha yoga is a slower paced class, perfect for beginners to advanced and will take you through standing and seated Asanas while introducing students to backbends and inversions. Designed to calm your mind, body and spirit. Modifications are offered to make the class accessible to all levels of practitioners.
All Levels Yoga
A Vinyasa-style class, synchronizing breath with movement. This class builds balance, strength, tones the mind and body and leaves you feeling invigorated. Focuses on alignment and safety, with modifications for advanced poses, inversions and arm balances. Expect to build heat through breath, sweat, twisting and balance. Great for beginners and challenging enough for experienced yogis.
Balance and Beyond
Get stronger and improve your balance while lowering the risk of falling. Exercises are designed to improve strength and power around the ankle, hip and knee joints, while improving reaction time.

Les Mills cutting edge Strength is a 30-minute high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workout, designed to improve strength and build lean muscle. This workout uses a barbell, weight plate and body weight exercises to blast all major muscle groups. Currently not offered.
Speed up your workout using intervals and circuits for a fast-paced, high intensity 60-minute class. Designed to increase athletic performance, strength and stamina.
This intense, 45-minute class incorporates cardio-kickboxing and strength training to build muscle and burn fat. Burn more calories in a shorter amount of time.
Combine fun with fitness to increase your cardiovascular and muscular endurance power with a standing circuit workout. Upper body strength work with handheld weights, elastic tubing with handles and a SilverSneakers® ball is alternated with non-impact choreography. New to SilverSneakers or exercising? This is a great place to start! HIIT The Step
30 minutes for High Intensity Interval Training using bodyweight and a step platform. Guaranteed to drive the heart rate up and improve cardiovascular endurance.
Gentle moving poses and low-impact exercises help build balance, a healthy spirit, mind, and body. The Tuesday/Thursday classes are held at CVPRD's admin studio, 8350 Colorado Blvd., Ste 180 (next to Dairy Queen). Wednesday classes are held at the senior center, 6615 Frederick Way in Frederick.
A fun, total body workout, combining all elements of fitness – cardio, muscle conditioning, balance, and flexibility, boosted energy and a serious dose of awesome. No dance experience required.
A modified Zumba® class for active older adults that recreates the original moves you love at a lower-intensity. Easy to follow Zumba® choreography that focuses on balance, range of motion and coordination.
