Meal Assistance for Seniors During Covid-19 Closure

The Weld County Area Agency on Aging opened two temporary drive up TAKE-OUT locations for the Friendly Fork Senior Nutrition Program which serves meals to seniors. 

Reservations are required and must be made by 11 am the business day prior by calling the Friendly Fork hotline at 970.400.6955 and leaving a message with your name, phone number and which location. You may also email that information to friendlyfork@weldgov.com

You must be at least 60 years of age or a spouse of a person at least 60 years of age. Suggested donation $4.

South County Location
Tuesday/Thursday
Southwest Weld Complex
4208 WCR 24 ½, Firestone
To-go boxes will be served at 11:30 am.

North County Location
Monday/Wednesday/Friday
Weld County Training Center
1104 H Street, Greeley
To-Go Boxes will be served at 11:30 am.

Friendly Fork Weld County Lunch Program
The County’s Senior Nutrition Program provides nutritious and delicious noon-time meals for seniors. The Senior Nutrition Program’s meal strives to meet 33 1/3 percent of the daily recommended dietary allowance. For more information and menu’s visit the Weld County website.

Suggested donation of $4 for 60 and over, $12 fee for 59 and younger
