Aquatics

Reservations are required to visit the pool (with the exception of some lap swim hours). Click here to visit our pool reopening page to learn more about the reservation process and pool requirements.

Masks are required to be worn in the recreation center at all times except when you are working out. Please be sure to keep your mask on in the locker rooms and prior to getting in the pool and immediately after you get out of the pool.

Swim lessons have been suspended until later phases of our reopening. Updates will be posted on our website and Facebook page as they occur. 


A variety of aquatics programs are offered at the Carbon Valley Recreation Center for all ages and ability levels including swim lessons, aqua fitness classes, swim team, lifeguard training, and open swimming.

Facility Aquatics Amenities 

The swimming pools at the Carbon Valley Recreation Center offer fun for all ages. The aquatics area is comprised of three separate bodies of water and feature the following:

  • A 25 yard lap pool with diving board and 16.5" aqua climbing wall.
    Lap lane availability is limited. View the pool schedule or call 303-833-3660 to confirm availability.
  • Activity pool with play features including a lazy river, floating lily pad water walking system, play structure with slide and , and two-story water slide. 
  • Hot tub with waterfall and jets
  • Steam room with eucalyptus oil

Aqua Climbing Wall

A new aqua climbing wall was installed in the lap pool and it’s one of the tallest in the state with 16.5’ of climbable height. Challenge your friends to a race or take your time climbing it, enjoy the view at the top, and drop into the water below.
