CVPRD has teamed up with Cheer Central Suns to provide recreational cheerleading classes in Carbon Valley. 

District Registration Opens: One month before the first scheduled class.
Non District Registration Opens: Three weeks before the first scheduled class.
Registration Deadline: One week before the first scheduled class.
Location: Cheer Central Suns Gym, 3773 Monarch St., Frederick

All Star-Novice Team

This is a great choice for beginner athletes wanting to get a small glimpse of a cheerleading routine without a ton of commitment and only one local Competition. Age: 5 - 12

  • Competition on April 15th 
  • $100.00 t-shirt and competition fee

Fridays, February 3 - April 14 
Time: 5 - 6:30 pm
Fee: $250 District, $375 Non-District  

Performance Cheer and Tumbling Class

Ready, OK! Kids will flip over this high-energy recreational cheerleading class designed for participants to learn jumps, motions, stunts, dance and tumbling through sportsmanship and teamwork. Each session, the Cheer Central Suns Cheer Team will be performing in-house or at a community event along with class participants. Poms are provided. $20 cheer shirt fee. Age: 5 - 12

Mondays, February 20 - April 3 (no classes during spring break) 
Time: 5 - 5:55 pm
Fee: $90 District, $135 Non-District 

NEW! Preschool-age Dance Poms/Tumbling Combo Class

This new class is designed for your little one to dance and cheer their little hearts out with poms. Your child will learn motions, dance and tumbling while practicing body control and improving strength, flexibility, balance and coordination. Age: 3 - 5

Wednesdays, January 11 - February 15 
Wednesdays, February 22 - April 5 (no classes during spring break)  
Time: 4 - 4:45 pm
Fee: $90 District, $135 Non-District 

Ninjas 

Hi-yah! This six-week high energy class is sure to bring out your child's inner ninja. They will be challenged with obstacle courses, tumbling and will create a special ninja identity. Age: 3 - 5

Thursdays, January 12 - February 16
Mondays, February 20 - April 3 (no classes during spring break) 
Thursdays, February 23 - April 6 (no classes during spring break)
