SilverSneakers
Tivity Health’s SilverSneakers® Fitness program offers physical activity, health education, and social events to help reduce health care costs driven by the physical and mental effects of aging and physician and hospital visits. As a contracted provider, the Carbon Valley Parks and Recreation District (CVPRD) offers fitness equipment and signature SilverSneakers® classes which are designed specifically for older adults and taught by certified instructors.

Announcements
During the Recreation Center front entrance remodel and construction, the Monday/Wednesday 7:45 am All Levels Yoga and 9 am Gentle Yoga will be held at the CVPRD Studio beginning Monday, April 17.

Aqua Tabata is back!
HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) in the water! This multi-level class will challenge beginners to advanced. Work at your own pace and get a great workout without the impact on your joints. Tuesdays | 9:30 - 10:30 am

SilverSneakers® BOOM Move
Tuesdays | 10:30 - 11:15 am
A higher intensity dance workout class that improves cardio endurance and burns calories. MOVE is all about breaking a sweat and having fun. Simple dance moves that build into more complex sequences, bringing you a great cardio workout.
SilverSneakers® Classic
Monday I 10:30 - 11:30 am
New to SilverSneakers® or exercising? This is a great place to start! Have fun and move to the music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activity for daily living skills. Handheld weights, elastic tubing with handles and a ball are offered for resistance; and a chair is used for seated and/or standing support.
SilverSneakers® Circuit
Wednesday and Friday I 10:30 - 11:30 am
Combine fun with fitness to increase your cardiovascular and muscular endurance power with a standing circuit workout. Upper body strength work with handheld weights, elastic tubing with handles and a SILVERSNEAKERS® ball is alternated with non-impact choreography. A chair is offered for support, stretching, and relaxation exercises.
SilverSneakers® Yoga
Mondays | 1 - 1:45 pm Senior Center, 6615 Frederick Way, Frederick, CO 80530
Get ready to move through a complete series of seated and standing yoga poses. Chair support is offered so you can perform a variety of seated and standing postures designed to increase flexibility, balance and range of movement. Restorative breathing exercises and final relaxation will promote stress reduction and mental clarity. This class is suitable for nearly every fitness level.

Balance and Beyond
Tuesdays I 10:45 - 11:30 am
Get stronger and improve your balance while lowering the risk of falling. Exercises are designed to improve strength and power around the ankle, hip and knee joints, while improving reaction time.

Zumba Gold
Thursdays I 10:30 - 11:30 am
A modified Zumba class for active older adults that recreates the original moves you love at a lower intensity. Easy to follow Zumba Choreography that focuses on balance, range of motion and coordination.
