New Fitness Class! Balance and Beyond coming May 17
Get stronger and improve your balance while lowering the risk of falling. Exercises are designed to improve strength and power around the ankle, hip and knee joints, while improving reaction time.
Classes held at the Senior Center.
Tuesdays 10:45 - 11:30 am

Get ready to move through a complete series of seated and standing yoga poses. Chair support is offered so you can perform a variety of seated and standing postures designed to increase flexibility, balance and range of movement. Restorative breathing exercises and final relaxation will promote stress reduction and mental clarity. This class is suitable for nearly every fitness level.

A modified Zumba class for active older adults that recreates the original moves you love at a lower-intensity. Easy to follow Zumba Choreography that focuses on balance, range of motion and coordination.
Tuesday and Thursday I 11:30 am - 12:30 pm
The gentle moving poses in Tai Chi help build a healthy mind, body and spirit. This low-impact class moves through a variety of full-body exercises and leaves you feeling refreshed. Free to SilverSneakers® and CVPRD pass holders. Drop-ins pay the rec center drop-in fee (cash not accepted during the pandemic).
Tai Chi Class is held at The Studio located at 8350 Colorado Blvd.,Suite 170, Firestone (next to Dairy Queen).
