Aqua Fitness Classes

There are no additional fees for any of our aqua fitness classes. All group fitness classes are included with recreation center admission or membership.

  • All aqua fitness classes require a number card which can be picked up at the front desk up to 90 minutes before class. 
  • Water shoes are recommended for all river classes.

Beginning Monday, September 18 the following classes will be changing:

Aqua Tone at 8 am will be River Circuit
BogaFit at 9:15 am will be Deep Water - Advanced

Aqua Tabata is back! 

HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) in the water! This fun, multi-level class will challenge beginners to advanced. Work at your own pace and get a great workout without the impact on your joints. Limit 14. Lap Pool.

Aqua Fitness Class Descriptions

Aqua Boot Camp
Intervals, plyometrics, and drills in the hydrodynamic pool environment results in an explosive, challenging and effective workout.
Limit 14. Lap Pool.

Aqua Tabata
HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) in the water! This fun, multi-level class will challenge beginners to advanced. Work at your own pace and get a great workout without the impact on your joints. Limit 14. Lap Pool.

Aqua Tone
Build stamina and muscle conditioning while using a variety of equipment and formats. 
Limit 14. Lap pool.

BOGAFiT
An innovative aqua fitness program that builds strength, deepens flexibility, and improves balance and coordination on the BOGA FiTMAT all on the water. BOGAFiT exercises enhance the benefits of traditional fitness movements while minimizing the harsh impacts of traditional land exercises, creating high-intensity workouts that remain low-intensity on your body. 
Limit 5. Lap pool. 
*Must be comfortable with possibly falling in the water

Deep Water Aqua Tone
using belts and noodles for support in the deep end, exercises challenge the core without joint stress or pounding. Comfort in deep water recommended.
Limit 12. Lap Pool.

River Circuit
Challenge yourself working through circuit stations and aerobic intervals in the river and leisure pool for a great calorie burning workout.
Limit 10. River and Leisure Pool. 

River Strength
Utilizes resistance with tools, aerobic intervals, and active recovery providing a great calorie burning workout. 
Limit 10. River.

Water Barre
Focus on posture, alignment, core and breath work while in the water! Similar moves to land Barre', transformed to the water for a fun and challenging resistance-based workout. 
Limit 12. River (no river current)
