Get moving and feel great! The Carbon Valley Parks and Recreation District offers a variety of group fitness classes throughout the day and evening. With so many options, there's sure to be something for everyone.

Free Yoga in the Park
Join us every 1st and 3rd Thursday, May-August. Strengthen your body and mind while enjoying the peace and tranquility that comes with practicing yoga outdoors. The class will be from 6 pm - 7 pm at Crist Park. Age: 10+ with parental supervision
Fee: Free

End of Summer Fit-A-Thon
Can't decide what class format you like best? On Saturday, August 25 from 3 - 4:30 pm, join us at Carbon Valley Recreation Center and sample some of the popular fitness classes offered at the Rec Center. From Zumba® to BODYPUMP to aqua fitness, there's something for everyone. Cool down at the conclusion of the event and celebrate the end of summer when we all jump in the pool! Age: 16+       Fee: $5

Women's Weight Training
This three-week weight lifting class is designed to teach women how to lift free weights with proper technique and gain confidence to help transform their minds and bodies.  Strength training is finally getting the attention it deserves as a beneficial, safe and effective exercise for women.  After years of misinformation, women are learning that strength training not only enhances muscle tone but also boosts metabolism, speeds up fat burning and reduces risk.  Age: 15+  Instructor: Amanda Webb
